Bonnie Sue Standard

MRS. BONNIE STANDARD Mrs. Bonnie Sue Standard, 74, of Greenville, died Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Warm Springs Medical Center. Mrs. Standard was born May 9, 1938, in Troup County, daughter of the late Ernest Elmer Norton and Musa Mae Dunevan Norton. Before making her home at Greenville twenty years ago, she lived in Hogansville, where she had been employed by Uniroyal, Inc. and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Brenda and Jerry Spencer of Greenville, Melody and Ricky Loper of Hogansville; sisters, Hazel Norton of Hogansville, Annie Mae Dimzoff of Twin Lakes, WI; brothers, Ernest E. Norton, Jr. of Franklin, Jerry Norton of Rome; 9 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Private interment was in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, beside her first husband, Marvin William Brookshire, and her son, William Bruce Brookshire. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
