MR. BOBBY D. WILLIAMS Mr. Bobby D. Williams, 79, of Hogansville, died Saturday, December 14, 2013, at West Georgia Medical Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. His brother, Felton Williams, and his nephew, Clay Williams, will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Mr. Williams was born September 10, 1934, in LaGrange, son of the late Henry and Lois Logan Williams. A veteran of service during the Korean Conflict, he served ten years in the U. S. Navy. He lived in the Hogansville area most of his life, was retired from William L. Bonnell Company in Newnan, and was a member of Weathers Honda Riders Club. Survivors include his daughter, Patty Miller and her husband, Ray, of Five Points, AL; step-daughter, Lisa LaFevor and her husband, Steve, of LaGrange; sister, Helen Ramsey of Hogansville; brothers, Felton Williams of LaGrange, Melvin Williams of Oakview, CA, and H. C. Brock of Hogansville; grandchildren, Heather Davis, Matthew Hanson, and Amanda Hanson; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Williams. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Monday night, December 16th, at Claude A.
