Bobby Hiram Hayes

Bobby Hiram Hayes, 50, of Hogansville, passed away, Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

Mr. Hayes was born October 16, 1972, in Newnan, son of the late Luther Ronald Hayes and Bobbie Jo Harrison Hayes Mott. A resident of Meriwether County most of his life, he was a self-employed master carpenter and had served as a volunteer fireman for Meriwether County. He loved all kinds of music and enjoyed being with his friends, gambling, and fishing.

Survivors include his loving companion, Kay Fowler of Hogansville; son, Harrison Daniel Hayes and his wife Micalea and their son Kayson Asher Hayes of Luthersville; sisters, Tina Joe Chapman Estep and Richard Campbell of Luthersville, Lauren Christine "LaLa" Hayes of Moreland; and a nephew, Kevin Christopher Chapman.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 11, in the Chapel of Claude a. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Brian Hosmer will officiate and interment will be in Luthersville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Thursday.
