Bobby Denney, Jr.

Mr. Bobby Denney, Jr., 52, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. A resident of Heard and Coweta counties most of his life, he was Baptist by faith, was a Mason and was employed as a truck driver for Bryson Utility Contractors. He dearly loved his family, was an avid fisherman, enjoyed camping and being outdoors. Survivors include his daughters, Crystal Marie Denney, Ashley Nicole Denney and Brandy Carol Denney, all of Franklin; his former wife of 23 years and the mother of his daughters, Linda Carol Denney; his girlfriend, Susan Robinson and her son, Jared Robinson; father, Bobby Denney of Grantville; his mother and step-father, Brenda and Greg St. Ann of Emerson; sisters, Candace Colston of Acworth, Sandra Phillips of Cartersville, and Lisa Laster of Roanoke, AL; and grandchildren, Elijah Tucker, Trey Burden, Xavier Tucker, Jace Earl, Jeremiah Denney and two grandchildren soon to arrive. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tina Davis Denney. The funeral service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Brandon Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 until 5 Tuesday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
