Bobby S. Boswell

MR. BOBBY S. BOSWELL Mr. Bobby S. Boswell, 72, of Grantville, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Atlanta Medical Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 25, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Jay Moore, the Reverend Jimmy Evans, and Render Freeman will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery, with military honors. Mr. Boswell was born December 21, 1937, in Coweta County, son of the late George Stevenson Boswell and the late Mildred Rooks Boswell. He was a lifelong resident of Coweta County, was a retired electrician, and served six years in the National Guard. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grantville. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Clark Boswell of Grantville; daughter, Deann and Richard Cannon of Dell City, OK and Amy and Andy Hamlin of Newnan; son, Robert and Tammy Boswell of Moreland; step-daughter, Crystal and Barry Boyd of Grantville; step-son. Render and Zephie Freeman of Newnan; sister, Sherry and Wayne Smith of Newnan; brothers, Jerry and Jeannette Boswell of Lanett, AL and Randy and Beatrice Boswell of Moreland; ten grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Thursday night, June 24th, at Claude A.
