Bobby Eugene Allen

MR. BOBBY ALLEN Mr. Bobby E. Allen, 76, of the Louise Community of Troup County, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015, at West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Allen was born June 19, 1938, in LaGrange, son of the late L. L. Allen, Jr. and Lois Neal Allen. A veteran of service in the U. S. Army, he lived in Troup County most of his life and retired from Bo-Tex Sales Corp. in Hogansville after thirty years of service. He was Baptist by faith, he loved the beach, and he is remembered as a kind-hearted man who would help anyone. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Allen; daughter, Christy Lashley and her fiancée Jose Diaz; sons, Eric Allen and his wife Shannon Lynn, and Justin Allen, all of the Louise Community; sisters, Betty Jo Weaver of Louise, Joyce Janney of Sharpsburg; brothers and sisters in-law, Darnell and Melanie Allen, Jimmy and Edith Allen, Ricky Allen, all of Hogansville, and Billy Allen of LaGrange; grandchildren, Misty Jo and Francisco Corella, Charity Michelle Lashley and Issac Sanchez, Mollee Bartlett, Connor Bartlett and a very special granddaughter, Ashley Ann Lashley; great-grandchildren, Emma, Chelsea and Marco; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 13, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Tommy McLeroy will officiate and interment will be in Louise Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night. Claude A.
