MRS. BOBBIE SCANTLIN Mrs. Bobbie Beall Scantlin, 88, of Hogansville, died Friday, April 26, 2013, at LaGrange Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 29, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend Lamar Truitt officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 Sunday night. Mrs. Scantlin was born September 8, 1924, in Manchester, daughter of the late James and Minnie Lucy Spier Beall. She lived in Hogansville most of her life, was retired from Lasater Drugs after many years of service, and was a charter member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hogansville. Survivors include her sons and daughter in-law, Ray Scantlin of Los Angeles, CA, Mike and Glenda Scantlin of LaGrange; and a grandson, Stephen Scantlin of LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Lee Scantlin. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 5 until 7 Sunday, April 28th, at Claude A.
