Bobbie Jo Mott

Mrs. Bobbie Jo Mott, 70, of Luthersville, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023, at home.

Mrs. Mott was born November 17, 1952, in Augusta, daughter of the late Bobby and Mary Robinson Harrison. A resident of Meriwether County for forty years, she was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church in Luthersville and had lived in Heard County for the past year. She was the caregiver and peacemaker for her extended family, was known to have a big heart, and was loved by everyone.

Survivors include her husband, James Edward Eason of Franklin; daughter, Tina Jo Chapman Estep (Richard Campbell) of Luthersville; son, Bobby Hiram Hayes (Beverly Kay Fowler) of Hogansville; brothers, James "Bubba" and Marie Harrison of Luthersville, Jimmy and Sherry Harrison of Sharpsburg; grandsons, Kevin Chapman and Harrison Hayes; and great-grandson, Kayson Asher Hayes.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Brian Hosmer will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday.
