Bobbie J. Miles

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Miles, 80, of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the home of her daughter and granddaughter in LaGrange.

Mrs. Miles was born June 30, 1942, in Hogansville, lived in Troup County most of her life, and was employed as a seamstress at Playtex International for many years. She was Baptist by faith, enjoyed watching the red birds in her yard, and loved being with her great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol Bartlett; son, James O'Neal, both of LaGrange; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dean Miles; son, Donnie Ray O'Neal; mother, Floy Lee Steele Johnson; and brother, Billy Ray Steele.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 26, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Minister Evan Kirby will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
