Bobbie Tucker Mason

Mrs. Bobbie Tucker Mason, 85, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Mason was born August 18, 1931, in Hogansville, daughter of the late Grady and Jessie Collier Tucker. A lifelong resident of Hogansville, she retired as a trainer from Playtex International in Newnan after 35 years of service. She was a longtime member of Antioch Baptist Church and was attending Bible Baptist Church in Hogansville. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Rhonda and Donald Broach of Grantville; sister, Mildred Veal of Grantville; brothers, Billy Tucker of Grantville, Wayne Tucker and his wife Evelyn of Hogansville; grandchildren, Michelle Gregor, Linda Broach, Brenda Benefield and her husband Charles, Donna Ogle and her husband Paul; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hancel L. Mason and her daughter, Yvonne S. McKibben. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jerome Wood and Lance Dorrough will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
