MRS. BOBBIE JEAN FENNELL
Mrs. Bobbie Jean Agan Fennell, 68, of Valdosta, died Saturday, January 17, 2009, at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 20, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Robert Longshore and the Reverend David Simmons will officiate and interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan.
Mrs. Fennell was born August 29, 1940, in Carroll county, daughter of the late Pink Adrain Agan and the late Lurlene Spradlin Agan Hendrix. A former resident of Coweta county, she had lived in Valdosta for the past fifteen years.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Nancy and Mike Parr of Valdosta, Linda Corunza of Bradenton, FL, Paul (Buddy) and Shannon Fennell, Doyle Fennell, Edward and Gloria Fennell, all of Valdosta, Curtis and Pam Fennell of Adel, Marie and Ben Cowart and Elizabeth Fennell, all of Valdosta; four sisters, Shirley Wilder of Grantville, Sandra Webb and Molly Martinez, both of Carrollton, and Sybil Harrell of North Carolina; five brothers, Robert Hendrix of Hogansville, Edward Agan of Newnan, Sidney Hendrix of Whitesburg, Douglas Hendrix of Cochran, and Tony Hendrix of Franklin; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lula Mae Edwards and Emma Hendrix.
The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
