Mrs. Blanche Windsor Roberts, 86, of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at her home.
Mrs. Roberts was born January 23, 1930, in Randolph County, Alabama, daughter of the late Christopher Columbus Windsor and Sallie Kate Smallwood Windsor. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she retired as a lab technician from Uniroyal, Inc. after many years of service. Mrs. Roberts was an avid gardener and was known as the day lily lady.
Survivors include her sisters, Nell Bailey of Rome, Dorothy Klawetter of Zebulon; brother and sister in-law, Pete and Nita Windsor of Moreland; sister in-law, Melba Windsor of Auburn, AL; son in-law, Gary Fuller of Greenville; grandchildren, Tonya Fuller Dix and her husband Scott of Moreland, Rex Fuller and Chad Fuller both of Greenville, Jason Roberts and his wife Karen of Montgomery, AL; and great-grandchildren, Blake Fuller, Haley Fuller, Carson Fuller, Kassidy Roberts and Kyle Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Roberts, Jr.; son, Dennis M. Roberts; daughter, Susan Roberts Fuller; sister, Esther Windsor Harris; and brother, Gordon Windsor.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 2, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend Zenus Windsor officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 3 Friday afternoon.
