MRS. BIRDIE LEE WILLIAMSON Mrs. Birdie Lee Williamson, 83, of Greenville, died Sunday, November 9, 2008, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, at New Friendship Baptist Church near Woodbury. The Reverend Tim Hosmer will officiate and interment will be in the Greenville Cemetery. Mrs. Williamson was born October 5, 1925, in Greenville, daughter of the late Johnnie and Emily Walton Baird. A lifelong resident of Meriwether county, she retired from Playtex Corporation in Manchester after 28 years of service and was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Lorenzo Williamson of Greenville; her son and daughter in-law, Larry and Sandra Williamson, also of Greenville; three grandchildren, Keith Williamson of Greenville, Scott and Shiela Williamson of Kenosha, WI, and Josh and Tara Williamson of Kathleen, GA; and five great-grandchildren, Kayla, Brandon, Kelsey, Kyle, and Sidney.
