MR. BILLY E. WYCHE
Mr. Billy E. Wyche, 81, of Greenville, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at his home.
Mr. Wyche was born May 23, 1932, in Coweta County, son of the late Edward Clark Wyche and Emily Belle Newby Wyche. A resident of Lakeland, Florida for twenty years, he was employed by Florida Tile, serving as a truck driver and retiring as a mechanic. He lived in Pavo, Georgia after his retirement and had lived in Greenville for the past eight years. He was Baptist by faith, had served in the National Guard, and was a member of the Moose Club.
Survivors include his wife, Joann Denney Wyche of Greenville; sister, Polly Lee of Carrollton; brother, James Wyche of Moreland; grandchildren, Christy Calhoun of Grantville, Clay Neill of LaGrange, Lee Calhoun and Sammy Calhoun, both of Hogansville; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Calhoun.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Mike Hornsby will officiate and interment will be in Southview Cemetery in Moreland.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night.
