Billy Clay Spradlin

Mr. Billy C. Spradlin, 66, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Spradlin was born December 16, 1959, in 29 Palms, California, son of the late Felix and Jean Elizabeth Mobley Spradlin. A resident of Troup County most of his life, he was a retired painter and worked many years with his nephew, David Spradlin. He enjoyed art and drawing and was known to be a “jack-of-all trades”, but he especially loved painting.

Survivors include his children, Jerrod Spradlin (Michelle Spradlin), Jessica Spradlin (John Franklin), Jason Spradlin (Lisa Spradlin), Jonathan Spradlin all of LaGrange, Kacy Fuentes (Raul Fuentes) of Thomaston, Elizabeth Spradlin of LaGrange, Isacc Spradlin (Bailey Spradlin) of West Point, Nathaniel Spradlin (Cassidy McCain) of LaGrange; his little buddy, Marquis (Bubba); fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and another soon to arrive. He is also survived by his friend and former wife, Laura Spradlin; his sister, Donna Spradlin; and his brothers, James Spradlin and Kenneth Spradlin, all of LaGrange. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Spradlin, and a grandson.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, January 8, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jason Veitch will officiate and interment will be in Cross Point Church Cemetery in the Louise Community of Troup County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., Thursday, prior to the service.
