Billy A Morgan

Mr. Billy A. Morgan, 86, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Morgan was born September 18, 1938, in the Harrisonville Community of Troup County, son of the late J.D. "Duck" Morgan and Olive Grace Wood "Polly" Morgan. A lifelong resident of Troup County, he was a 1957 graduate of Hogansville High School and retired as a truck driver from Transus Trucking. He enjoyed fishing and working in his yard.

Survivors include his daughters and sons in-law, Sherrie and Troy Harris of Palmetto, Lynn and Curt Barnes of Evansville, WY; grandchildren, Lauren and Chris Ashley of Marietta, Kyle and Lauryn Davis of Gainesville; great-grandson, Grayson Davis; and his sister, Betty Keith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Morgan.

The family is honoring Mr. Morgan's wishes that a memorial service not be planned.
