MR. BILLY M. HOGAN
Mr. Billy M. Hogan, 81, of Newnan, died Sunday, November 14, 2010, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Mike Harris and the Reverend Bill Deakins will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery.
Mr. Hogan was born February 10, 1929, son of the late Ben H. Hogan and the late Annie Ruth Helton Hogan. A lifelong resident of Coweta County, he retired from William L. Bonnell Co., and was a member of Elim Baptist Church in Newnan and Bigham Masonic Lodge in Moreland.
Survivors include his son and daughter in-law, Randy and Kay Hogan of Newnan; grandchildren, Amy Michelle Hogan and Randall Troy Hogan, both of Newnan, and Tyler Davis of Panama City, FL; great-grandchildren, Kenzi, Joseph, and Will; his best friend, Joyce Marie Thrower of Franklin; sister, Mary Alice Kee of Grantville; and brother, Marvin Hogan of Franklin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Hogan, and his daughter, Cheryl Davis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kidney Foundation of Georgia, American Heart Association, or American Diabetes Association.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
