Billy Chambers

Mr. Billy Chambers, 87, of Grantville, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021, at his home. Mr. Chambers was born May 8, 1934, in Rockmart, son of the late Paul and Blanche Goddard Chambers. A former resident of College Park, he had lived in Grantville since 1987 and had owned and operated Chambers Sales, which provided automotive supplies to garages and service stations in the Atlanta area. He was a member of Luthersville Baptist Church, was a former member of the Hapeville Lions Club, and enjoyed working outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jo Chambers; daughter and son in-law, Stephanie Chambers Postelle and Kenneth Owen Postelle; son and daughter in-law, Steve Chambers and Valerie Lee Chambers, all of Grantville; grandson, Joshua Owen Postelle; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Owen Postelle, Carly Leann Postelle, and Heaven Marie Postelle. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, May 15, at the graveside in the College Park Cemetery, with the Reverend John Pape officiating. Claude A.
