Billy J. Bragg

Mr. Billy J. Bragg, 75 of LaGrange, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born April 17, 1950, in Carroll County GA, Mr. Bragg was the son of the late Corbie and Chloe Mae Taylor Bragg. He was a resident of LaGrange most of his life and was Baptist by faith. Mr. Bragg was a NASCAR fan, loved driving fast and smokin' tires, and was a former dirt track racer. He cherished his family with all his heart and will be remembered for his sense of humor.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ann Bragg; children, Melissa Atkinson (Dennis), Shelia Bragg (Todd Costley), Bill Bragg (Carrie), Ronnie Bragg, and Amy Wells (Mike); sister, Brenda Hornsby, all of LaGrange; brother, Alton Bragg of Hogansville; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bragg was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jenna Paige Bragg.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14, at the graveside in Meadoway Gardens with the Reverend Sam Mitchell officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 Saturday afternoon.
