Billie Ruth Slaton

Mrs. Billie Ruth. Slaton, 90, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020, at Florence Hand Home in LaGrange Mrs. Slaton was born October 27, 1930 in LaGrange and was the daughter of the late Walter and Leola Caldwell Wilson. She was a lifelong resident of Hogan Town Community in Coweta County, was a longtime member of Grantville Methodist Church, and was a homemaker. She is survived by her son Jimmy Slaton; and her daughter, Jinny Slaton, both of Hogansville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby C. Slaton. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, at the graveside in Grantville Cemetery with the Reverend Terry Rainwater officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside from 1 until 2 Tuesday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
