Billie Jo Shaw

Mrs. Billie Jo Shaw, age 88, of LaGrange, passed away Monday, July 6, 2026, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mrs. Shaw was born March 23, 1938, in Eastman, daughter of the late Ira Vernon Horne and Ruby Thompson Horne. A resident of LaGrange most of her life, she was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her sons, Alan Shaw (Darlene) of Lanett, AL, Stanley Shaw (Tracy) of LaGrange; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Hart of Orlando, FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Shaw; and her sons, Michael Shaw and Steve Shaw.

The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, July 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Randall Hodge officiating. Interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, prior to the service.
