Miss Billie Jo Hilley, 40, of Williamson, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020, at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.
Billie was born June 9, 1980, in Griffin, was a lifelong resident of Troup and Pike Counties, had attended Callaway High School in Hogansville, and was a special angel to her family and to all that she met. She loved to paint, to listen to gospel and country music, and to complete puzzles.
Survivors include her parents, Toni and Mike Hilley of Williamson; sisters and brothers in-law, Brandy and Terrell Moody of Whitesburg, Stephanie and Rex Fuller of Newnan; paternal grandparents, W. B. Hilley, Sr. and Martha Hilley, of Williamson; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also considered her long-time physician, Dr. James Bruce and his wife Debbie, to be part of her family also. Billie was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Betty J. Hilley; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Hixie Searles; and niece, Presley Blake.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Mike Gay and the Reverend Eric Kennon will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night.
