MRS. BETTY J. TODD Mrs. Betty J. Todd, 81, of Hogansville, passed away, Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Todd was born August 19, 1933, in Anniston, AL, daughter of the late Luther and Katie Spradlin Smith. A devout Christian, she was a long-time member and Sunday School teacher at First Assembly of God of Hogansville and was currently a member of New Life Worship Center. Through the years, she was a loving caregiver to many members of her family. Mrs. Todd was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Todd; daughters, Celey Bonner and Irma Askew; son, Dwight Todd; and special friend, Herman Watkins. She is survived by grandchildren, Beth and KJ Jackson, Dale and Jessica Todd, Phillip Hammett, Chris Drake, Benjamin Askew IV; great-grandchildren, Autumn and Amber Todd; daughters in-law, Alana Todd and Paulette Todd; son in-law, B. O. Askew III; lifelong friend, Doris Morgan; and caregiver, Janice Garner. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dorothy Herndon and the Reverend Jeremy Royster will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Friday night, January 9th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Myrtle Hill Cemetery
