Betty Sue Doler Waldon

MRS. BETTY SUE DOLER WALDON Mrs. Betty Sue Doler Waldon, 67 of Hogansville, passed away Wednesday March 16, 2022, at Hospice LaGrange. Born June 27, 1954 in Newnan, Mrs. Waldon was the daughter of the late Joseph Calhoun Doler and Margaret Smith Doler. She had been a resident of Hogansville for 30 years and lived a fun and colorful life. Mrs. Waldon loved to sing, especially old country music, was always joking and pulling pranks on family and friends, and loved life to the fullest. Survivors include her son and daughter in-law, Michael and Lisa Kelly of Hogansville; sister, Darlene Merrill of Lanett; brothers and sisters in-law, J.C. And Felicia Doler of Roanoke, AL and Charles and Deborah Doler of Dalton; grandchildren, Owen Kelly and Ethan Kelly, both of Hogansville, and Matthew Calhoun of Grantville; her best friend, Renee Koch of Hogansville; former husband and friend, Chuck Kelly of Hogansville; special friend and caregiver, Timika Johnson of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Waldon was preceded in death by her sisters, Frankie Waryas and Joanne Williamson; and a brother, Tommy Doler. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with the Reverend Terry English officiating.
