Betty Smith Spradlin

MRS. BETTY S. SPRADLIN Mrs. Betty Smith Spradlin, 74, of Hogansville, died Thursday, August 20, 2009, at her home. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend Ron Daniel and the Reverend Bobby Robinson officiating. Mrs. Spradlin was born December 13, 1934, in Hogansville, daughter of the late Herschel and Ella Robinson Smith. Before making her home in LaGrange ten months ago, she was a lifelong resident of Hogansville, was a member of Highland Baptist Church, and was the wife of the late Frank Spradlin. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Pam and Donny Turner of LaGrange; sons and daughter in-law, Wiley Spradlin of Hogansville and Lamar and Patsy Spradlin of Valley, AL; sister, Frances Eason of LaGrange; brothers and sisters in-law, Norman and Jutta Smith of LaGrange and Mallory and Nell Smith of Bowdon; grandsons, Jeremy and Courtney Spradlin of Monticello, Brandon Spradlin of Cartersville, Will and Chelci Turner and Ben Turner, all of Auburn, AL; and great-grandchildren, Cutter Spradlin, Ava Grace Spradlin, and Hudson Spradlin.
