Mrs. Betty Faulkner Prescott, 73, of Whitesville, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017, at Roosevelt Warm Springs Rehabilitation and Specialty Hospital.
Mrs. Prescott was born February 8, 1944, in Carroll County, daughter of the late Jim and Lillie Skinner Faulkner. A former resident of Hogansville, she lived in Harris County for a number of years, was Baptist by faith, and was a former employee of Playtex International.
Survivors include her daughter, Tina M. Strickland of LaGrange; son and daughter in-law, Dayrel and Jenny Strickland; sister, Bernice Graham of Fayetteville; brothers, Willie Faulkner and Alfred Faulkner, both of Newnan; five grandchildren, Andrew and Mary Beth Strickland, Tray and Ashlee Strickland, Allie Tanner, Tyler and Hillary Tanner, Katy and Tyler Eady; and great-grandchildren, Ansley Strickland, Emma Tanner, Madelyn Eady, Paisley Eady, Brayden Strickland, and Remy Tanner.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Fred Cooke will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Sunday night.
