MRS. BETTY J. NEAL Mrs. Betty Jean Neal, 83, of Hogansville, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Clinton Hughes will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night. Mrs. Neal was born June 27, 1928, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Stanley and Daisy Brown Rickett. A former resident of Warrior, Alabama, she had lived in Hogansville since 2010 and was a retired cook and waitress. Survivors include her husband, Gerald Neal of Hogansville; daughter, Brenda Uroz, also of Hogansville; sons, Jackie Warfield, Terry Warfield, Junior Warfield, Louis Warfield, and James Warfield; sister, Thelma Louise Nauman of Warrior, AL; brother, Harry William Rickett of Gardendale, AL; five grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Friday night, November 18th, at Claude A.
