Betty Ruth Minix

Mrs. Betty Ruth Minix, 64 of Grantville, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at her home. Born August 14, 1953 in Newnan, Mrs. Minix was the daughter of the late James Clarence and Rudean Hubbard Broome. She lived most of her life in the Newnan and Grantville area and was worked in the Piedmont Newnan Hospital Cafeteria for 12 years. Survivors include her husband, David Minix of Grantville; daughters and sons in-law, Rebecca and Jason Hubbard of Newnan and Tiffany and Walter Koon of Molena; step-children, Niki and Jeremy Hannah of Glenwood City, WI and J. D. Minix and his fiancé Stacy; sister, Paula Brown of Newnan; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 30, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend James Calhoun will officiate and interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
