Betty Jo Kelley

MRS. BETTY JO KELLEY Mrs. Betty Jo Kelley, 78, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Roosevelt Warm Springs Rehab and Specialty Hospital. Mrs. Kelley was born July 26, 1936, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Jack and Louise White Carter. A resident of Meriwether County most of her life, she retired from Best Manufacturing in Woodbury and was a very talented seamstress. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Julie and Joey Thrash of Greenville; brother and sister in-law, Bobby and Clyde Carter of Manchester; and her granddaughter, Ashleigh Thrash of Greenville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Hank Kelley; and her brother, Ted Carter. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 13, at the graveside in the Greenville Cemetery, with the Reverend Amy Arnold officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
