MRS. BETTY JO WEAVER Mrs. Betty Jo Weaver, 70, of the Louise Community of Troup County, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015, at West Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Weaver was born September 27, 1944, in LaGrange, daughter of the late L. L. Allen, Jr. and Lois Neal Allen. A resident of the Louise Community for many years, she was a member of Louise Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and loved to cook, especially making cakes, and enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flowers. Survivors include her children, Jane Espy and Preston Edwards of McDonough, Charles and Vicki Weaver of Louise, Robert Weaver of Hogansville, Betty Jean Dewberry of Warner Robins, Janice and Donald Walker of Carrollton, Joan Wilson of LaGrange; sister, Joyce Janney of Sharpsburg; brothers, Darnell and Melanie Allen, Jimmy and Edith Allen, Ricky Allen all of Louise, Billy Allen of LaGrange; sister in-law, Sharon Allen of Louise; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude O'Neal Weaver; and her brother, Bobby Eugene Allen. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 1, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Tommy McLeroy will officiate and interment will be in Louise Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Monday night, August 31st, at Claude A.
