Betty Lynn Harper

Mrs. Betty L. Harper, 69, of Hogansville, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mrs. Harper was born October 16, 1953, in Manchester, daughter of the late Warren Julius Beck and Nora Clyde Thompson Beck. She was employed as a waitress for many years, enjoyed attending church, and loved to arrange flowers. She had a talent to assemble various items into something beautiful and useful.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Harper of Hogansville; daughter, Jennifer Harper Arrington and her husband T C of Hogansville; son, Donald Glenn Beck of Atlanta; step-daughter, Wendy Bryant of Pine Mountain; step-son, Russell Turner and his wife Melanie of Abanda, AL; grandchildren, Chloe Faye Arrington, Benji Joe Hester, Jr, Kaden Bishop; and great-grandchildren, Zailee Grace Hester, Bettie Jo Hester, Paizlee Racel Lynn Jean Combs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Wayne Beck and sister, Sylvia Lynn Beck.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend James Calhoun officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
