Betty Jean Garner

Mrs. Betty Eady Garner, 85, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Garner was born June 13, 1931, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Earnest Howard Eady and Vesta Tucker Eady. A resident of the LaGrange area most of her life, she worked as a data entry clerk for the City of LaGrange for a number of years. Survivors include her sons, Steve Gladney and Richard Gladney, both of Atlanta; brother, Olin T. Eady of College Park; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her husband, Clinton H. Garner, passed away on May 27, 2016. A family interment service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 30, at the graveside in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
