Betty Jane Creamer

Mrs. Betty J. Creamer, 80, of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Creamer was born April 29, 1942, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Warren Henderson "T" Thompson and Odessa Mae Railey Thompson. A resident of Troup County most of her life, she was employed as a quality control agent for the Elm City Division of Milliken and Company prior to her retirement.

Survivors include her son and daughter in-law, Ken and Sabrina White of Hogansville; five grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Judy and Richard King; brother, Warren "Buddy" Thompson, both of LaGrange; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jan Stringer; and her son, Steven White.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 26, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Rev. Dr. Lamar Truitt officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Thursday.
