MRS. BETTY L. COOPER Mrs. Betty L. Cooper, 72, of Moreland, died Friday, May 21, 2010, at Atlanta Medical Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 23, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Lee Woodruff and the Reverend Carl Calhoun will officiate and interment will be in Southview Cemetery in Moreland. Mrs. Cooper was born September 25, 1937, in Troup County, daughter of the late Harvey Cleveland Gaddy and the late Abbie Paschal Gaddy. A resident of Coweta County most of her life, she retired from Southern Mills in Newnan and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Charles L. Cooper of Moreland; son and daughter in-law, Danny and Belinda Thompson, of Moreland; daughter and son in-law, Laurie and Michael Phippen of Hogansville; sisters and brother in-law, Brenda Brown of LaGrange and Cathy and Gene Masdon of Grantville; brother, Bill Gaddy of Tucker; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbur L. Thompson. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Saturday night, May 22nd, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 23rd, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Southview Cemetery in Moreland
