MRS. BETTY JEAN CAUSEY Mrs. Betty Jean Causey, 73, of LaGrange, died Friday, November 1, 2013, at West Georgia Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 3, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Wade Arrington officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately before the memorial service. Mrs. Causey was born May 20, 1940, in Heard County, daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Willie Mobley Emory. Before making her home in LaGrange in 2012, she lived in Coweta County most of her life, was Pentecostal by faith, and had been employed as a personal caregiver. Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Pike of LaGrange; granddaughter, Rebekah Keith of Hogansville; grandsons, Dalton Jonathan Matthew Cook of LaGrange and Justin Gay of Hogansville; and a great-grandson, David Keith.
