Mrs. Betty Ann Hanner, 77, of Brush Creek, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at her home.
Mrs. Hanner was born March 6, 1944, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Joseph Otto Stone and Willie Mae Crowell Stone. A 1962 graduate of Hogansville High School, she had lived in Tennessee since 1981, and was a loving Christian homemaker. Mrs. Hanner had enjoyed cross-stitching both professionally and as a hobby and her work had been featured in a number of cross-stitch magazines.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Eddie Hanner of Brush Creek; son and daughter in-law, Ed and Tanya Hanner of Granville, Tennessee; grandson, Noah Barrett; sister, Janet Smith of Newnan; sisters in-law, Toni Durham of Dayton, Ohio, Glenda Collett Warmus of Newnan, Jackie Hanner of Flowery Branch; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Windom; and her brother, Joseph Crowell "Buddy" Stone.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 30, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Frank Powers and the Reverend Max McCord will officiate and interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
