Mrs. Betty Sue Allen, 90, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Ansley Park Rehabilitation in Newnan.

Mrs. Allen was born September 22, 1934, in Thomaston, daughter of the late William David Damron and Love Harris Damron. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she retired as an administrative assistant from the Hogansville School System and later worked as a hostess and manager for Pizza Villa in LaGrange. She loved to sing, had an incredible love for her family, and helped raise and provide a place to live for extended family members and others.

Survivors include her sons, Grady Walker "Butch" Allen, III (Audrey) of Warner Robins, William Damron "Bill" Allen (Sherri) of Dalton; grandchildren, Suzanne "Sissy" Hudson, Nicole Fisher, Michelle Benton, Briana Allen, Luke Allen, Daniel Allen, Kaitlyn Allen, Halie Allen; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and one soon to arrive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Allen, Jr.; and her daughters, Suzanne Allen and Christie Robertson.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 13, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Dr. Richard Hanner officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 13, prior to the service.
