Bettie Lou Moore

Mrs. Bettie Lou Moore, 86, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022, at her home.

Mrs. Moore was born October 10, 1935, in Selma, Alabama, daughter of the late William Grady Hale and Gladys Godwin Hale. A member of the Church of Christ, she raised her children in Hogansville and was a former employee of Uniroyal, Inc. She later lived in Jacksonville, FL from 1977 until returning to Hogansville in 2012.

Survivors include her son, Bobby Moore of Hogansville; grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Moore, Joshua Carroll Moore, Brandi Michelle Moore, James Ellis Lovett, Fallon Elizabeth Lovett; and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Carroll Moore; son, William Carroll Moore; and daughter, Linda Diane Moore.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 17, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery with Pastor Alex Montgomery officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday.
