Mrs. Bettie Sue Jackson, 95, of LaGrange, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

Mrs. Jackson was born August 11, 1930, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Fred Boddie Jones and Alvie Smith Jones. A lifelong resident of Troup County and a resident of the County Line Community since 1975, she was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Pine Mountain. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, James H. Jackson; daughter, Suzanne James and her husband Kerry; sons, James Charles Jackson and his wife Sara, Clay K. Jackson and his wife Lori; grandchildren, Patricia McCollum, Sarah Jackson, Jason Ford, Brandie Newsome, Christopher Bishop, Morgan James, Jake James; and great-grandchildren, Shae McCollum, Justin McCollum, Shane Ford, Robert Ford, Lane Brown, Peyton Brown, Gracie Brown, Savannah Newsome, Ella Newsome, Oaklyn Newsome.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 30, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Rev. Dr. Lamar Truitt will officiate and interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 29.
