Bernice Rachael Martin

MRS. BERNICE MARTIN Mrs. Bernice Rachael Martin, 88, of LaGrange, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 1, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend S. T. Janney officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Martin was born March 25, 1925, in Randolph county, Alabama, daughter of the late Henry Andrew Martin and Avie Etha Harden Martin. She lived in Troup County most of her life and was a member of Oakside Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Myra and Bobby Sutton, Patsy and Mike Jenkins, all of LaGrange, and Martha and Albert Moncus of Blairsville; sons and daughter in-law, Wilbur and Ruby Caldwell and Phillip Caldwell, all of LaGrange; brothers and sisters in-law, Carles and Shirley Martin, Rodney and Debra S. Martin, all of LaGrange; twenty grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Faye Caldwell. Claude A.
