MRS. BEATRICE M. WEIR Mrs. Beatrice M. Weir, 91, of Franklin and formerly of Newnan, died Sunday, April 10, 2011, at LaGrange Nursing and Rehab. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Joe Strickland and the Reverend Lynn Janney will officiate and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan. Mrs. Weir was born November 28, 1919, in Emmons, Minnesota, daughter of the late Andrew and Anna England Mossestad. During World War Two, she was supervisor of the secretarial pool for Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, and later served as bookkeeper for Cracker State Oil Co. while living in Newnan and for Cagles, Inc. while living in LaGrange. She was a minister's wife and a member of the Pentecostal Church. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Pat and Harold Banks of Franklin; sons and daughter in-law, Raymond Weir of LaGrange and Ricky and Linda Weir of Woodbury; 8 grandchildren, Cheryl and Mike Robards, Bonnie and Harold Carroll, Kelly and Jorge Alanis, all of Newnan, Ginger Golden, Randy and Robin Banks, Matthew Weir, Daniel Weir, all of LaGrange, Robin and Joe Legg of Franklin; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Reverend Ervin Weir, Jr. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Monday night, April 11th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 12th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan
