MRS. BEATRICE DOPP Mrs. Beatrice Thrower Dopp, 87, of Hogansville, died Friday, July 9, 2010, at LaGrange Nursing and Rehab Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Willow Heim and the Reverend David Pickard will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Dopp was born June 21, 1923, in Hogansville, daughter of the late Tom and Lizzie Dean Thrower. A lifelong resident of Hogansville, she was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Andy Dopp; daughter in-law, Kitty Dopp; brother and sister in-law, Tommy and Eloise Thrower; granddaughter, Lisa and Ken Webb, all of Hogansville; four great-grandchildren, Becky and Trey Hudson, Mandy Jones, Kendal Webb, and Kenzie Webb; and a great-great-grandson, Ryan Hudgins. Mrs. Dopp was preceded in death by her son David M. Dopp. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
