Barney Ruben Cook

MR. BARNEY R. COOK Mr. Barney R. Cook, 73, of the Louise Community of Troup County, died Sunday, January 17, 2010, at West Georgia Medical Center. Born July 15, 1936, in Ranburne, Alabama, Mr. Cook was the son of the late John Caulden Cook and the late Ethel Buchanan Cook. He was a veteran of service in the U. S. Navy, lived in Troup County most of his life, and was a retired auto mechanic. Survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Rachel and William Langley of LaGrange; son and daughter in-law, Ronald and Michelle Cook of the Louise Community; a close friend that he considered a daughter, Rhonda Camacho and her husband, Espino, of Poole, TX; and several sisters, brothers, grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. The family will hold a memorial service at a later time. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
