Mrs. Barlice W. Hunt, 91, of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016, at LaGrange Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Hunt was born December 6, 1924, daughter of the late Carl and Era Johns Walburn. A lifelong resident of Troup County, she was Baptist by faith and retired from Uniroyal, Inc. after 44 years of service. She enjoyed travel, reading and music, but most of all, she loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters and son in-law, Luann and Scott Keeble of Hogansville and Carla Medley of Greenville; grandchildren, Melissa Wolfe, David and Cindy Coker, Keith and Shirah Coker, Marcia Diane Medley, Troy Darrin Medley, Thomas Lamar Medley, John Scott Medley, Rebecca Sue and Tommy Gray, and Robert Medley; and great-grandchildren, Jacob Wolfe, Skyler Dixon, Ethan Coker, Dylan Coker, Tyler Coker, Raven Coker, Brannon Hardnett, Lucas Davis, Richard Medley, Nate Medley, Alex Medley, Morgan Harlin, and Casey Collum.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Max McCord will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
