Barbara Vineyard "Bobbie" Toney

Mrs. Barbara Vineyard "Bobbie" Toney, 87, of Fremont, North Carolina and a native of Hogansville, died Sunday, October 29, 2023.

Mrs. Toney was born February 8, 1936, daughter of the late Murray A. Vineyard and Martha Jean Keith Vineyard. She was raised in Hogansville, was a graduate of Hogansville High School, and had lived in Fremont for more than thirty years. She was a member of Fremont Missionary Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Bill" Toney, Jr., she is survived by her daughter, Wendy Toney of Fremont; sons, William "Mike" Toney (Carla) of Wake Forest, NC, Sam Toney of Fremont, and Bob Toney (Angie) of Faison, NC; and her granddaughter, Emma Toney.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 5, in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with Pastor Greg Morris officiating.
