Barbara Ann Davis

Mrs. Barbara Ann Davis, 77, of Griffin, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Mrs. Davis was born October 26, 1944, in Tampa, Florida, daughter of the late Bonifay Jackson Grant and Daisy Ellerbee Grant. A longtime resident of Meriwether County, she was a homemaker, and had made her home in Griffin for the past ten years. Mrs. Davis spent her life caring for both family and others. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Sherry and Jimmy Harrison of Sharpsburg; sons and daughters in-law, Mike and T J Parker, Kevin and Eva Parker all of Griffin; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her brother and sisters, Gary Grant of Zephyrhills, FL, Sara Edgar of Live Oak, FL, Carolyn Teague of Crestview, FL, Connie Berryhill of Tampa, FL, and Gloria Lee of Live Oak, FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Richard Davis. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Daniel Andrews will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery.
