MR. AUTRY OLMSTEAD Mr. Autry L. Olmstead, 73, of Newnan, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 2, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend L. B. Rooks and Pastor Jimmy Evans will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Monday night. Mr. Olmstead was born November 5, 1939, in Fayette County, son of the late Reverend James Olmstead and Myrtie Slaton Olmstead Eubanks. A lifelong resident of Coweta County, he was employed for many years as a supervisor for Royal Moulded Products and retired from Winpak. He was an active member of Raymond Baptist Church and was a motorcycle enthusiast. Survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Jeannie and Randy Gilbert of Hogansville; son, Lee Olmstead, Jr. of Pensacola, FL; brothers and sisters in-law, Bobby and Cindy Olmstead of Moreland, Donald and Ann Olmstead of Grantville; sister, Peggy and Fred Hoover of Fayetteville; sisters in-law, Diane Olmstead and Debbie Olmstead, both of Newnan; grandchildren, T. J. and Tiffany, Joshua, Scott, and Jay; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald Olmstead and Roger Olmstead. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 9 Monday night, April 1st, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 2nd, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Grantville Cemetery
