MRS. ARLENE McCLOUD Mrs. Arlene Hornsby McCloud, 73, of Hogansville, died Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Molena Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. McCloud was born May 31, 1941, in Meriwether County, daughter of the late Ralph and Geneva Irwin Hornsby. A resident of the Hogansville area most of her life, she was a member of Highland Baptist Church and had been employed by International Playtex and West Point Pepperell. She enjoyed quilting, crafting and reading. Survivors include her daughters and son in-law, Pat Kee and Robin and Robbie Bugg; son, Lamar Kelley, all of Grantville; sister and brother in-law, Paulette and Elbert Pittman of Mobile, AL; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clifton McCloud. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 27, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Tony Grant will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Saturday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
