April Nicole Knott

April Nicole Knott, 44, of Valley, AL, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

April was born February 9, 1980, in Newnan, and lived in Newnan and Franklin before making her home in Valley six years ago. She was employed by Waffle House for fifteen years and truly enjoyed her work. She continued to work through her battle with cancer and worked until three weeks before her death. April loved going on trips and enjoyed helping people.

Survivors include her mother, Sheena Knott of Valley; her sister, Stephanie Knott, also of Valley; and an uncle, Ricky Hayes of Newnan. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Keith Knott.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Friday, August 2, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Pastor T J Boyd officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Friday, prior to the service.
