Anthony Alan Gann, 23, of Moreland, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020. Alan was born June 3, 1996, in Newnan, and was a lifelong resident of Coweta County. He enjoyed fishing and watching dirt-track racing, was a great fan of University of Georgia Bulldog and Indianapolis Colts football, and loved the music of Nickelback. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Tony and Brenda Gann of Moreland; mother and step-father, Betty Downs and Troy Dobson of Newnan; sister, Kristina Nikole Decatur and her husband Stoney of Nauvoo, AL; step-sister, Danyale Evans and her husband, David; step-brothers, Mark Dodds and his wife Amber, Adam Dobson and Kayla; grandparents, Joseph and Nancy Joyce Henry of Newnan; and a number of nieces and nephews, including Gunner and Xyliee. The family will receive friends for viewing and visitation from 6 until 8 Saturday night, February 1, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The family will also host a memorial service at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 4, at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Luthersville, with Pastor Brian Hosmer officiating. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
